I have decided to start writing blogs on each wedding! Just a fun little piece to add to my website and give you an overlook on a beautiful wedding day!
So my first WEDDING blog will be covering my first wedding of 2022, January in Tennessee! Let me tell you, it was freezing that day! There had been mentions of snow in the forecast in Alabama that morning too. I just kept thinking "just let me make it to the wedding, I rather get snowed in at the venue, than get snowed in before I can make it to shoot the wedding!!" Luckily, my second shooter and I didn't have any troubles on the way up to Tennessee! No icy roads or snow! Although, the venue coordinator did state they had some snow flurries early that morning. EEK I was hoping for some SNOW PICTURES! :) Even without the snow, we still got amazing photos.
The Monarch is an all indoor venue and it was absolutely breathtaking-although I'm a sucker for an outdoor ceremony- this venue was LIFE! Beautiful white walls downstairs with a lot of natural light to peep through the windows. Upstairs - brick walls with black ceilings! WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THAT WOULD MAKE A BEAUTIFUL RECEPTION? UMMM well it made a gorgeous- very classy reception. On top of the amazing decorators I got to work with- PLS Coordinate. They did an outstanding job making everything fall into place!
My Bride started planning her special day and basically had everything planned and booked within the first five months of her wedding planning journey! AND she was doing it all alone, which was so awesome! She killed the game too! Plus she looked stunning for her SOON TO BE HUBBY!
The Bride and Groom decided to do a first touch instead of a first look while they read their personal wedding vows to each other alone. So sweet and meaningful! It also gave them a little time before the ceremony to share that moment with each other - without seeing each other of course! LOL I would probably recommend this to my other brides- if they are not wanting to do a first look.
The Ceremony was full of laughter and tears!
A "Ring Warming" happened- which is where your guests pass around your rings giving good vibes and prayers over the rings before you and your partner place the rings on your fingers! I have never seen this done before but it was really magical and sweet!
LOVE me some romantic shots of my Bride and Groom!
As well as their formal shots with the Bridal party and family!
The glow sticks was a perfect Grand Entrance for these two Gamers! -Pretty cool, they did the Grand Entrance to the Reception with the glow sticks instead of their "Leave" - a little different twist. The Reception was perfect-the newly weds got to enjoy the night with all of their close friends and family! Plus everyone wanted on the dance floor!! LOVE me a good dance party!
The day was beautiful, fun, and sweet! Plus I love meeting new people and as always getting to travel to a different state to snap a love story! Although, Weddings are always perfect no matter where they are located. I personally just love seeing and experiencing different scenery!
Well this is it for my First Wedding Blog, I hope I did it correctly. LOL
